The 3rd place was awarded a prize of $1,000 USD. The 2020 Financial Modeling Competition was an M&A case study where participants had to analyze the impact of a potential M&A transaction for a Fortune Global 500 company. In the case, participants acted as an M&A Adviser for the Fortune 500 company and provided an investment recommendation by assessing potential acquisition targets and how they aligned with the company’s growth objectives. This online competition challenged participants to showcase and celebrate their financial modeling and valuation skills, knowledge, and excellence in the industry.
